With Summer around the corner, students are beginning to plan what they will do over Summer break. There are quite a few things to do around Springfield over the summer. Here are some fun things to do over the two month break.
One fun thing is to get a membership at the YMCA. They have a pool, gym, and workout equipment. They also have sports teams you can join without a membership.
The Art Museum is a great place to go during the summer. Number one, it's air conditioned all during the summer to keep the art in good condition. It is also fun to see all of the beautiful art there and snag some free postcards at the gift shop.
Getting some Pineapple Whip is another good way to cool off in the intense summer heat. With a small cup of cold whip being about $3, it's also an affordable way. Pineapple Whip is open all summer long, but sometimes closes during storms.
